I had the pleasure of interviewing Scott for the EC Athletic Director position and then watching him flourish in that role. Scott is what I call an entrepreunerial administrator. As Athletic Director for a high school, he understands that there is a certain process that must be followed for a sports program to function successfully. At the same time, he is able to work “outside the administrative box” to find creative ways to move the program forward. Unlike many athletic directors, Scott is able to advocate for the student-athlete while also maintaining good relations with his coaches. That is no easy task in today’s high school sports environment and Scott does it well. Scott has been a blessing to EC and I hope he continues to deliver his talents there for a long time to come.
